Bryan Ansell provided a marvellous selection of figures to display at the Oldhammer Weekend at Foundry, all carefully arranged and displayed by his son Marcus. A took quite a few photographs, some of which have appeared previously on this blog, others have not. I'll let the pictures do the talking, but see if you can spot the Blanche-painted Runequest Troll...(hint: it's not in the "Blanche" section).

I didn't many pictures of these - you can see a lot more in my previous post
Beautiful shots Steve!ReplyDelete
Wonderful addition Steve! Love the humans...great inspiration for the knights I supposed to be working on!ReplyDelete
It was a real pleasure to see all those models for real! Having spent countless hours staring at them in rulebooks and white dwarfs! Man, those chaos banners are ace aren't they! You just don't see any armies with banners like that anymore. Having had some success with painting old skool 'face shields', I really must have a go at a banner one day!ReplyDelete
Awesome collection of photographs of many great old miniatures. Spent many an hour looking at photos of them in the books, good to see them at different angles and closer up.ReplyDelete
I especally appreciate the close ups of the Soulflayer and Doomweaver Goreblast, and love the photos of the lesser Goblins.
